First 10 Days

Greetings all!

As I wander the schools of our Chester County School District, I see so many talented students and educators! It amazes me the things our students can do!

During the first 15 days of our new school year, we have experienced:

* an exciting Convocation with our top-notch educators,

* students being recognized in the media for their talents both on and off of the football field,

* board recognition of our Great Falls JROTC Academic Bowl Champions,

* and so many other honors and accomplishments!

What a great start to this year!

We have a renewed emphasis on why we do what we do as educators in the laser focus we have on the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate. We are constantly evaluating what we did well and what we can do better. This is the never-ending job of an educator and parent!

In this Profile, we pledge to concentrate on teaching our students to be prepared as they leave our halls at graduation to possess world-class skills, world-class knowledge and to have the “soft skills” they need for life and career!

We are a positive bunch here in the Chester County School District, and we believe that the best is yet to come for our students!

Best wishes to all students and staff for a successful 2018-2019 school year!
